Gulfport High School invites the community to the 2026 Homecoming Parade on Thursday, September 24, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in downtown Gulfport. This annual tradition brings together students, alumni, families, and community members to celebrate Gulfport pride and school spirit.
This year’s parade will feature participants from Gulfport School District organizations, Gulfport High School alumni, and past Gulfport High Homecoming maids and queens. The Gulfport Police Department, ROTC, and Admiral Band will lead the parade. Floats and school groups will join the festivities along the downtown route.
Following the parade, a special stage presentation will recognize the 2026 Homecoming Court and GHS Club sweethearts. The Gulfport High cheerleaders will lead the crowd in cheers and chants celebrating our Admiral Football Team.
The parade, presentations, and cheerleader-led cheers and chants are meant to build excitement and enthusiasm leading up to Friday night’s Homecoming football game, as the Gulfport Admirals take on the Pascagoula Panthers at 7:00 PM at Admiral Stadium. Everyone is encouraged to come out and show their Admiral pride.
