Students learned about fire extinguishers, what to do in a crisis situation, and how to respond safely during a fire. They even had the opportunity to practice using a fire extinguisher to put out a controlled fire.
We appreciate the Gulfport Fire Department for helping our students build important skills that can make a difference in an emergency! 🧯👏

Today, Chef Trae was back in the kitchen—this time as a full-time member of our team—serving up a delicious strawberry shortcake cup for our residents!
We’re so proud to watch his journey unfold and grateful that he continues to be part of our Seashore Highlands family. 👨🍳🍓

What an incredible first full day of school at Gulfport High! Campus was full of energy today, and we loved seeing so many familiar returning faces alongside our new Admirals joining the crew.
This year, our theme is Gulfport First- a commitment to prioritizing our students, our school spirit, and our community in everything we do. We are beyond excited to sail into this new school year together!

We officially launched the new school year with our district-wide Essential Pieces convocation! Keynote speaker Dr. Adolph "Doc" Brown set an incredible tone for the day—using his signature blend of humor and heart to remind us of the power of leading with empathy and building genuine connections with every student.
Our educators and leaders spent the afternoon in targeted professional development breakout sessions, sharpening classroom strategies and equipping themselves to support student growth across all grade levels.
Superintendent Glen East closed out the day with inspiring words for the road ahead. The pieces are in place, and we can’t wait to welcome our Admirals back! 🎉⚓

New & Novice Orientation was full of great moments—from an energetic GHS Band performance to a special district bus tour led by Superintendent Glen East. Between breakout sessions and connecting over lunch, this incredible team is ready to inspire our students! ⚓️
