Tuition for Out of District Students
Parents or guardians living outside the Gulfport School District (Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, and Stone Counties) may petition the Gulfport School District for an out-of-district transfer for their child to attend the Gulfport School District through a tuition transfer process. All transfers granted through the tuition process shall be at the sole discretion of the District.
PETITIONERS RESIDING WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF GULFPORT - Petitioners will be required to provide proof of residency satisfactory to the District demonstrating they reside within the corporate limits of the City of Gulfport.
Tuition Cost - $1,500.00 per year
PETITIONERS RESIDING OUTSIDE THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF GULFPORT - Petitioners will be required to provide proof of residency satisfactory to the District demonstrating they reside in Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, or Stone Counties.
Tuition Cost - $2,000.00 per year
Students residing within the corporate limits of the City of Gulfport will have priority in the acceptance process by the District. Any tuition student attending the District shall have priority in the acceptance process to continue as a tuition student so long as the student continues to meet all qualifications. All tuition students will be required annually to obtain a release form from his/her resident school district satisfactory to the Gulfport School District. Tuition must be paid in full before paperwork and school placement will be processed by the Gulfport School District and the student admitted.
Tuition is non-prorated and non-refundable.
