Military Families

1. Identify as Active Duty when registering at our school.

2. Fill out a form to meet with our School Military Point of Contact.

3. Set up a conference with the principal/teacher.

4. Military students will go on a student-led tour of the school.

5. Website and supports will be shared with new families.

Registration Information

1. Review of academic records by the school.

2. Parents will identify areas of concern with the School Military Point of Contact and Counselor.

3. Student will be discussed in grade level data chats.

4. Student will be included, as needed, in classroom academic interventions.

5. Student will be included, as needed, in enrichment or referred for gifted testing.

6. Teachers and counselor(s) will be available to meet to discuss any parental concerns.

1. Students may join clubs on campus once enrolled - Listed in weekly school newsletter.

2. The weekly newsletter includes resources for military parents to access and use to support their students at home.

3. Military students will participate in military-based events such as Veteran's Day, Purple Up Day in April, and Military Career informational events.

Student organizations are dedicated to making military students feel welcomed and have all the support they need. Upon arrival, a student leader will:

1. Meet with the student, family, and counselor (website and support shared with families)
2. Give students a tour around campus
3. Check-ins will be scheduled to answer questions or concerns
