• Week of March 25th - March 29th 

    Monday (Introduction to Unit 9: Financial Literacy)

    Students will create a chart that shows the correlation between higher education and expected income.

    Tuesday - Module 5 Bridge Design

    Students will complete budget questions using the "Why Do People Go to School?" handouts.  Also, students will discover the difference between wants and needs.


    Students will learn the importance of budgeting while completing the "Living Within Their Means" handouts.  Also, students will dicsover the difference between fixed and variable expenses. 


    Students will continue discussions about how to balance budgets using fixed and variable expenses. 


    Students will use the budgets from the "Living Within Their Means" handouts to create budget sheets in Excel.
