Welcome to 4th grade! My name is Eve Paige and I joined the 28th Street Elementary family nine years ago. Although I grew up in southern New Mexico, I attended the University of West Georgia, where I received my bachelor's degree in English Literature in 2007. After graduating, I moved to Arizona, where I completed my secondary teacher certification. I joined Teach for America in 2011, and began teaching 4th grade Language Arts and Social Studies in Sunflower, Mississippi. I have lived in many different states, but it is in Mississippi that I discovered my love of elementary school and the Coast. I am proud to say that Gulfport is my home.
I am thrilled to be teaching my favorite grade again! My goal for each of my students is that s/he makes outstanding academic gains in reading and science, and discovers a love of learning. In order for this goal to be achieved, I will need your help! I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions, ideas, or concerns regarding your child's education. A successful 4th-grade experience is essential, and I look forward to an amazing year at 28th Street Elementary!
