What can you do to help your child at home? Practicing sight words, reading aloud, and spending time together going over homework will have a tremendous impact on your young learner! Research proves that children who are regularly read to at home have larger vocabularies, are better readers and writers, and perform better in testing situations. For math, practice counting with you child. Point out math in your every day life! Practice basic facts to 10, both addition and subtraction. As always, if you have any concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to me! I am always available to discuss your child!
