Hi!  My name is Mrs. Nave, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher.  I am a graduate of Mississippi College and this is my 15th year of teaching. Before teaching 3rd, I had three years of teaching experience in 2nd grade.  In 2011, I began teaching 3rd grade with Gulfport School District.  

  I love teaching 3rd grade and am so excited about all that your children will learn this year.  In reading, we will be focusing on strategies for literary and nonfiction reading and comprehension.  In math, we will learn about multiplication and division, two-step word problems, fractions, area and perimeter, and geometry.  In science, students will explore earth science, body systems, and physical science.  And in social studies, we will discover more about our community and local government and where we are in the world.  It will be a very busy year full of exciting challenges!
