I am looking forward to teaching QUEST at Anniston Elementary and Twenty-Eighth Street Elementary School this year.  I have an exciting year planned. We will be using Lego Education manipulatives, learning about computer coding, as well as diving into the arts and addressing social and emotional issues that gifted students face.  I love helping my students explore new things and develop their strengths.  

In 1997 I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Education, majoring in special education, and in 1999 I earned a Master in Education from the University of Mississippi.  I have taught for 25 years in Mississippi public schools, and I have been a gifted education teacher for the last 18 years.
