Teacher Assistant
I was born and raised in Gulfport, MS I graduated from St. John High School, in 1978, and attended college at the USM campus in Hattiesburg where I graduated in 1982 with a BS degree in social work. Before working as a teacher's assistant, I worked at the Department of Human Services and then as a Municipal Court caseworker with the Gulfport Police Department. I left the social work profession to stay home with my children for a few years, and when I went back to work, I accepted a job as a SPED assistant. I have over 26 years experience working in SPED, and thirteen of those years, I have worked for the Gulfport School District, at Bayou View Elementary. I love what I do!
I have been married to Neil Resh, for 34 years, and we have three children: Mollie, Phillip and Edward. My family and I are members of St. James Catholic Church . My happy place is with my family, and I enjoy cooking and boating--especially night rides on the Biloxi River and camping on Horn Island.
