My name is Elisa Ortegon.  This will be my 16th year at Bayou View Elementary. I taught Spanish to K-5 in the Gulfport School District for 7 years.

I have a Bachelor Degree in Finance and a Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Catolica Santa Maria La Antigua (Panama).  I have a son named James.

I was born in Panama, Republic of Panama.  I moved to USA  in December 1997 thanks to my husband's transfer from the US Navy. 

I enjoy cooking, walking, reading, traveling,  and spending time with family.  I enjoy helping kids to achieve their goals, and I am looking forward to a fun year full of learning.
