My name is Kelly Weems. I am a graduate of Harrison Central High School. After graduation, I went on to play baseball at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College eventually transferring to play at Southeastern Louisiana University. After graduating from Southeastern, I returned to the coast and started work as a PE assistant while I finished my teaching certification. I started in the classroom in 2012 teaching a variety of social studies classes. I went on to further my education at William Carey University obtaining a master's degree in secondary education. I have coached multiple sports during my time as a teacher, including football and swimming. However, my primary coaching duties have taken place on the baseball field. I have been a baseball coach since I began my teaching career and will continue that role for GHS as well as being an assistant golf coach.
