Alexis Rodgers graduated from Gulfport High School in 2014 and graduated with a Bachelor's of Secondary Education in English from Mississippi College. She attended Bayou View Middle School in her youth but chose Central Middle School as her school home, knowing that both schools are what make Gulfport School District strong. Her "Teacher Why" is to teach students how to advocate and find their voice through English Language Arts instruction from Grammar to Informative Text and Literature. She is so excited about her journey with the Gulfport Central Commodores!
