Welcome! My name is Sydney Ballard and I have the pleasure of teaching 7th grade American History at GCMS this year! I am from Petal, MS and I graduated with a Bachelor's in History with Licensure from the University of Southern Mississippi. This is my first year teaching and I couldn't be more excited to be here! During this class we will be covering American history from the 1500's until the late 1800's, beginning with European Exploration and concluding with the American Civil War and Reconstruction.
