Hola, my name is Maritza Bonilla-Bryant and I am from Honduras, Central America. I graduated as an elementary teacher in Honduras and I earned my BA in Spanish and my Master’s degree in Teaching Languages with an emphasis in Spanish and TESOL from the University of Southern Mississippi. I have worked as a language teacher at different levels, from first grade up to college levels. I love teaching my native language and the different cultures of Hispanic countries. I live with my husband and nephew. When I have free time, some of the activities I enjoy doing the most are: reading, listening to music, watching movies, and traveling.
This is my first-year teaching in the Gulfport School District, and I am very excited to be here.
