Zach Rose is a native of Ohio and has just completed his 18th year teaching, all in Mississippi. Mr. Rose began his career as assistant director in Laurel, Mississippi, then served eight years in Ocean Springs and served six years as assistant director in Pascagoula. Mr. Rose has enjoyed consistent success in each district, creating new performing ensembles, growing the enrollment of each program and preparing musicians for elite-level performances. Mr. Rose has had the privilege of teaching grades 6 through 12 in each year of his career.

Mr. Rose’s students are consistently decorated with achievements, from regional honor bands to college scholarships and national recognition. His ensembles have consistently earned superior ratings at venues across Mississippi, performing the highest quality repertoire. 

Mr. Rose holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from James Madison University and a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi. 

Mr. Rose resides in Ocean Springs and enjoys gardening, cycling and rooting for favorite sports teams, including the Cincinnati Bengals, Reds, Ohio State Buckeyes and JMU Dukes.
