My name is Charlotte Banks. Most people just call me Coach and I have grown to like it very much. I attended the University of Mississippi on a full scholarship to play basketball. I played professionally in Venezuela and Finland. I worked in the homecare field as a CNA as well as a Regional Manager for On-Call Nursing and Assured Home Care for 12 years. Once the companies went out of business, I moved home to Gulfport, and began my coaching career at Gulfport High School as a Teacher's Assistant and the Assistant Coach for the Girls Varsity Basketball team. I went back to school and received my teaching license in Physical Education and Social Studies and a Master's degree in Business. I was blessed to be given an opportunity to coach girls PE and Bayou View Middle School and here I am. I look forward to working with my kids and their parents. I feel that for me to teach our kids, I have to make myself available to their parents as well. For this, I am grateful.
