I am excited about teaching AP US Government & Politics, AP US Comparative Government, and AP World History this year.
I received bachelor’s degrees in journalism and history from the University of Southern Mississippi. My master's is in Special Education from the University of Southern Mississippi and my doctorate is from Nova Southeastern University in Organizational Leadership. This is my 29th year in education. Throughout my career, I have worked with students from preschool through doctoral students. Positions I have held during my 29 years have been teacher, curriculum specialist, director, and professor. I have taught the following subjects: English grades 7-12, AP World History, World History, US History, US Government, Economics, AP Us Government, AP Economics, AP Comparative Government, Humanities, Law Related, and ACT Prep. Postsecondary course subjects taught: organizational leadership, organizational systems, special education, teaching strategies and applications.
I am from the Mississippi gulf coast. I am married and have one son. My family enjoys camping, kayaking, and hiking together.
