Hello! My name is Abygail Thorpe, and I am the teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages at Anniston Elementary. I believe learning a new language opens doors to new perspectives, relationships, and even ways of living! 

I completed my graduate degree in Applied Linguistics & ESL in Atlanta, Georgia. During my college education, I had many opportunities to teach and tutor English language learners from all over the world. I'm now here at Anniston Elementary fulfilling one of my greatest passions: helping guide the education and language experiences of our young English language learners. It's going to be a great year!

Completé mi posgrado en Lingüística Aplicada y ESL en Atlanta, Georgia. Durante mi educación universitaria, tuve muchas oportunidades de enseñar y dar tutoría a estudiantes de inglés de todo el mundo. Ahora estoy aquí en Anniston Elementary cumpliendo una de mis mayores pasiones: ayudar a guiar la educación y las experiencias lingüísticas de nuestros jóvenes estudiantes de inglés. ¡Va a ser un gran año!
