Greeting, Friends! I am Mrs. Doris Shed! I am a wife and mother of three! I am an Alumni of Mississippi Valley State University and Mississippi State University! I have a Masters in Public Health Administration and a Bachelors in Political Science & Public Administration. I began as an interventionist for Math and ELA. This experience ignited a passion within me to help students with various challenges achieve far more than they believed they could! I chose special education because I have a son who has Autism Spectrum Disorder and I wanted to be in a better position to help him.   I have been in the education field in some capacity for over 13 years. I worked in this area for special education for 8 years. This is my 4th year teaching in the Gulfport School District, but my first year at The Learning Center! I am super excited about helping our students DRIVE their future in the right directions!
