    Objectives for the Week

The student will be able to:

*Apply problem solving strategies to justify correct responses.

*Apply knowledge and skills articulated in the standards and use appropriate tools strategically to make sense of problems.

*Solve systems of linear equations exactly and approx., focusing on pairs of equations in two variables. A.REI.6

*Prove that, given a system of two equations in two variable, replacing one equations by the sum of that equation and a multiple of the other produces a system with the same solutions. A.REI.5

*Represent constraints by equation or inequalities, and by systems of equation and/or inequalities, and interpret solutions as viable or non-viable options in a modeling context. A.CED.3

*Graph piecewise-defined functions, including step functions. F.IF.7b

*Graph piecewise defined functions, including step functions. F.IF.7b

*Solve systems of linear equations exactly and approximately, focusing on pairs of linear equations in two variables. A.REI.6

*Construct linear functions, given a graph, a description of a relationship, or two input-output pairs. F.LE.2
