Mrs. Catherine Marshall

I began my teaching career in 1999 as a Special Education teacher with Norwood School District and taught children in all subject areas from middle school to high school ages. After 3 years I moved into a 4th grade classroom for 2 years in which I enjoyed an inclusive classroom. During my time with Norwood I worked on Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP) and Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) teams, I also received my Mild/Moderate Cross Categorical Special Education K-12 Certification.

My next step in teaching took me to a rural K-8 district where I wore many hats as I worked in several departments at once. I served as Special Education Director, Curriculum Director, Title I Reading Specialist, MAP Testing Coordinator, and MOSIS Director. During this time I also earned a Special Reading Certification with the state of Missouri and Earned my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with William Woods University.

Upon moving back to the Gulf Coast, in the fall of 2016, I have received my teaching license in Mississippi.  I am thrilled to be back in the classroom and helping students to learn the skills and strategies needed to be successful learners and to become productive members of their communities.
