Mrs. Tameco Wilson
My name is Tameco Wilson. I was in the Air Force Reserves for nine years before I began teaching. I have a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Elem. Education. I also have an endorsement in Mild and Moderate Disabilities. This is my 25th year in education in which all have been with the Gulfport School District. I was in regular education for the first 17 years of my teaching experience at Gaston Point Elemenary. I decided to go into the inclusion setting and enjoyed it for 4 years at West Elementary, but I soon realized my true love is in regular education classroom. This is my 4th year at 28th Street Elementary. I am presently teaching 3rd grade and I am certain that my experiences in both areas have allowed me to gain more insight to the needs of my students as individuals.
Children are my business and I truly enjoy being a positive role model in their young lives. Please feel free to call or e-mail me anytime. I look forward to a great year working with you and your child.
Tameco Wilson M.Ed.
I understand that your child comes to me with unique experiences, interests, and learning styles. My goal is to get to know your child and use what I learn to guide, support and motivate him or her. I believe that all children can learn and I am committed to help make this year an enjoyable learning experience. I believe that good teaching requires continual professional development, personal reflection and collaboration. I value parental involvement at every level and encourage you to partner with me to help give your child the most powerful and joyous learning experience possible.
