About Me:
My name is Tameco Wilson. I was in the Air Force Reserves for nine years before I began teaching. I have a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Elem. Education. My endorsements are Elem. Ed. (4-6), Kindergarten-4 (K-4), Pre-Kinder -Kindergarten, Reading (K-12), and Mild and Moderate Disabilities (K-12) . This is my 28th year in education with the Gulfport School District. I was in regular education for the first 17 years of my teaching experience at Gaston Point Elemenary. I decided to go into the inclusion setting and enjoyed it for 4 years at West Elementary, but I soon realized my true love is in the regular education classroom. This is my 8th year at 28th Street Elementary. I am presently teaching 1st grade and I am certain that my experiences have allowed me to gain more insight to understand the needs of my students as individuals.
Children are my business and I truly enjoy being a positive role model in their young lives. Please feel free to call or e-mail me anytime. I look forward to a great year working with you and your children.
Sincerely,
Ms. Tameco Wilson M.Ed.
