Welcome to our school library! 

I am Mrs. Janice Barnes, the library media specialist at 28th Street Elementary School. For the past 4 years, I have proudly served students at TSE. My teaching career spans 17 years, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my journey. 

Beginning the 2020-2021 school year, our library classes will look somewhat different. I will travel to each classroom to teach library lessons. Students will receive the same enthusiastic teaching as if we were in the library! 

I look forward to continuing my journey with the students, parents, staff and administrators at TSE this school year!
