I taught U.S. History, Mississippi Studies, World Geography, World History, Science Skills and Reasoning, and Physical Science. I also served as an assistant coach for the football and baseball teams.
During my Principal Corps experience at Ole Miss I served as an intern assistant principal with Corinth High School in the Corinth School District. I also served as an intern assistant principal at Iuka Elementary School in the Tishomingo County School District. When I graduated from the Principal Corps I was hired as Assistant Principal at Long Beach Middle School. I believe education should be exciting and encouraging for students to become life-long learners. I am excited to continue serving the students of the Gulfport School District at Anniston Elementary for the 2018-2019 school year. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi and my Master in Business Administration from William Carey University. I also began my alternate route journey into education through William Carey. I recently received my Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Mississippi. I served five years as a classroom educator teaching grades seven through twelve in math and science before pursuing administration and joining the Anniston Elementary School team as Assistant Principal.
I look forward to a great school year ahead.
