• Dance/Music - FALL 2021

     EFFECTIVE MONDAY, AUG 2. 2021: All employees and students are required to wear a face mask. This will include Community Education.

    Registration Procedure:

     You must register online using a credit/debit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover). Click on the class you want to register for. Our new online system is more user friendly & easier to navigate. Just follow these simple steps:

    You will then fill out the requested information on our secure servers. If you get stuck or have any questions, give us a call at 228.896.7622 and we'll be happy to walk you through it.

     *Remember you must pre-register for classes! No registrations will be taken the first night of class. Seating is limited in most classes so register early & don't miss out! 
    ¤ Classes are non-refundable. However, if your class is canceled by Community Ed, then a full refund will be issued. 

    BALLROOM DANCEBallroom dance is a classic that never goes out of style! Easy to learn steps in Rumba, Waltz, Meringue, Cha Cha, Swing and Fox Trot will help you gain confidence on the dance floor. Wonderful way to meet new people and great exercise too!  Fee= 45.00  

    Wednesdays 9/22-10/27 6:45-7:30 pm BVE gym 6 weeks

    BELLY DANCE- Suitable for students with little or no belly dance experience. This elegant and graceful form of dance, in an improvisational style, fuses Middle Eastern and Western moves. Improve flexibility, creativity, control and grace in a comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere. Comfortable clothing and dance barefoot or wear soft sandals or ballet slippers. Fee= 47.00 

    Mondays 9/20-10/25 6-7 pm PRE gym 6 weeks

    COUNTRY WESTERN DANCE- Let our highly skilled dance instructors introduce you to Country Western Dance. You will learn steps to the Country Western Shuffle, Two Step, and Waltz. You will also learn two line dances. Country Western Dance is fun & easy!  Fee= 40.00 

    Wednesdays 9/22-10/27 6-6:45 pm BVE gym 6 weeks

    GUITAR- (Ages 16 and older) Beginners will learn how to get started picking/strumming chords, scales, and songs. You will gain an understanding of basic music theory and reading music tablature.  Fee= 57.00  Supplies: Acoustic guitar, paper, pencil, picks Workbook fee= 20.00
