Hello! My name is Tasha Guin. I am excited about beginning this year with our awesome class!

I graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2006 with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. This will begin my fifteenth year of teaching. I am currently certified to teach grades k-6. I have taught first, third, fourth, and fifth grade. This is my first year in the Gulfport School District, and I am excited to be part of the team at 28th Street Elementary. 

I am originally from Tupelo, MS. In my free time I enjoy singing, traveling, decorating, reading, and spending time with my dog, Millie. 

Teaching is my passion, and I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. I look forward to working together with you as partners in your child's academic growth and development.
