What we will be doing in class this week!

  • SEPTEMBER 20-24

    HAPPY NINTH FULL WEEK OF YOUR 6TH GRADE YEAR!!!

    20TH: Review definitions worksheet from Chapter 11-12 of A Wrinkle In Time. Begin answering comprehension questions from Chapters 11. Review compare and contrast and character traits. (IP) TSW complete citing details to support answers. Review summary worksheet and have students show where they got their answers and details from in the text. 

    21ST: Review and discuss vocabulary discussed in math. Review notes taken during math class. Complete problems of all skills learned over the last nine weeks in Math after watching  review videos. Review problems and have the students explain how they got their answers. 

    22ND: Review character traits on the board and students will complete character traits of two characters from A Wrinkle In Time. Continue working on Chapter 11  and 12. Compare and contrast and answer comprehension questions based on what we read in class. Review writing activity and have students show where they got their answers and details from in the text.

    23RD: Review all skills learned from Math class by discussing and reviewing vocabulary. Complete review  assignments. Review student work and have the students explain how they got their answers. 

    24TH: Review definitions  and parts of PLOT. Explain what PLOT is and TSW begin reviewing these in pairs. Finish answering comprehension questions from the entire book. Complete citing details to support PLOT of A Wrinkle In Time. Review PLOT worksheet and have students show where they got their answers and details from in the text.
