Below are some different sites and games that would also benefit all students. If you do have your child on one of these games, encourage he or she to play a game that is based on a skill we are going over in class.
o Purple Math lists websites with worksheets, quizzes, and lessons on a variety of topics. This site is beneficial if a student is struggling with a concept or would like extra practice in a certain area.
o A great website with skills listed for sixth grade. Each topic includes guided lessons, explanations, and individual practice pages.
o "Math Is Fun" has worksheets, a dictionary to define mathematical terms, and instructional pages on various math concepts.
o IXL allows students to pick a topic and answer online problems with immediate feedback.
o Math-Aids is full of worksheets on every topic. You can choose the difficulty of the worksheet. This is great for extra practice/tutorial.
