Hi parents and students, My name is Meagan Barton and I am your 7th grade exceptional education teacher. If I have not had the pleasure of teaching your students in 6th grade, I can't wait to meet them as a 7th grader. I am from Tennessee originally *Go VOLS!* Before teaching, I worked with babies up to 3 years old, but this is now my 6th year teaching at BVMS. My husband was in the Navy, but now works with the hurricane hunters, so that’s how we ended up on the coast. I graduated from The University of Memphis with my Bachelor’s Degree and USM for my Master’s Degree in Education. We also have a 1.5 year old (Michael Allen) and 3 dachshunds (Sophie, Summer, and Saint). We are going to have a great 23-24 school year.
