Our mission/goal this year is to obtain star school status in terms of the state’s accreditation model; this goal will ultimately be accomplished through students’ commitment to becoming an educated class, and our commitment as educators to provide you with a quality education by teaching with high expectations through superior academic instruction. Our goal is to maintain scores ranging from 70-80% on your weekly and district mixed practice tests, and if you are among the elite in our honors program, scores ranging from 85-90% on weekly and district mixed practice tests. This faculty and administration is absolutely committed to teaching with the intrinsic belief that not only can all students learn, but must learn at a high level. Moreover, this intrinsic belief is externally expressed through our expectations of not accepting sub-par work, not accepting disruptive or disrespectful behavior, and not conforming to the low expectations of our circumstances. So, I ask you, students, faculty, and parents, what will you do today to move Central Middle closer to accomplishing our goals? Students, do not allow your classmates, nor the low expectations of your circumstances, to rob you of becoming an elite member of the educated class.
