Simone Fairley is a graduate of Gulfport High School. Mrs. Fairley received her bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1995 and her master's degree from William Carey College in 2002.

Mrs. Fairley has been an educator in the Gulfport School District for sixteen years. She was named Jr. Achievement's Teacher of the Year (2003) and was the recipient of MS Power's Alan R. Barton Excellence in Education Award (2008). Prior to becoming assistant principal, Mrs. Fairley held the following positions: special education teacher, career discovery teacher, cheerleader sponsor, ICT1 teacher, and team leader.

Mrs. Fairley is the proud mother of Julian Fairley.
