Medical Technician-
This class provides basic skills to prepare you for the workforce.
Students will gain knowledge in direct patient care skills. Learn to
communicate with patients, family members, and health team professionals.
This course prepares you for immediate employment in a hospital or clinical
setting.

Medical Front Office- This course will provide you with the
interpersonal and technical skills to apply for an entry-level position in a
medical front office, a starting point which can lead to advancement within
the medical field. You will learn about greeting and registering patients,
properly answering the telephone, preparing and filing charts, and
scheduling patient appointments. Fee= 60.00

Medical Terminology 101- This class is designed for those who
have no formal terminology training and would like to further or begin a
career in the medical field. Or perhaps you'd just like to understand what
your doctor is telling you. Fee= 45.00 Text= 25.00

Phlebotomy Tech- This intensive
course of study is designed to prepare students for immediate employment in
a hospital or clinical setting. Perform veni-punctures competently and
safely. Includes terminology, collection procedures, and hands-on lab
practice.

Register now for Community Education classes. Classes start the week of February 27, 2012. You may register by phone with Discover, MasterCard or Visa (credit/debit), or stop by our office and our friendly staff will be happy to assist you (check or money order). Checks should be made payable to Community Education. Returned checks will be assessed a $40 service fee. Registrations are processed in the order they are received and class fee must be paid in full.
