Introductory Courses

Computers 101-  An introductory class that will teach you basic computer concepts. This course if for those with little to no computer experience.         Fee= 90.00 

Mon./Wed. 2/27-3/7 6-9 pm GHS Room 208 2 weeks

 

Computers 102-  Extend your existing knowledge of other aspects of hardware and software computing, including running and further manipulating programs and to better navigate the Internet. Email basics and search engines will also be covered. Basic PC skills required. Fee= 90.00 

Mon./Wed. 3/12-3/21 6-9 pm GHS Room 208 2 weeks


Workplace Skills- Employers are seeking employees with these skills. Using Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, this class will teach you how to draft letters/documents, mail merge, create spreadsheets, charts/graphs and presentations.  Basic PC skills required. Fee= 135.00

MS Excel
- This is a required skill for most office positions in today's job market. Learn to create spreadsheets and charts, sort tables, and create multiple formulas.  Basic PC skills required. Fee= 135.00

QuickBooks Pro I- The fastest, easiest way to manage your business, this comprehensive software can integrate with Microsoft Word and Excel. This introductory course is designed for beginners. Basic PC skills required. Fee= 90.00   

Tuesdays 2/28-3/13 6-9 pm GHS Room 208 3 weeks


QuickBooks Pro II
- The fastest, easiest way to manage your business, this comprehensive software can integrate with Microsoft Word and Excel.  QuickBooks I or a basic working knowledge of QuickBooks software is required.  Fee= 90.00

Tuesdays 3/20-4/3 6-9 pm GHS Room 208 3 weeks


Web Page Design
- Learn to create professional web sites without having to learn programming. You will develop webpage content, structure and layout. Basic PC skills required. Fee= 90.00

Wednesdays 3/19-3/28 6-9 pm GHS Room 211 4 weeks

Register now for Community Education classes. Classes start the week of February 27, 2012. You may register by phone with Discover, MasterCard or Visa (credit/debit), or stop by our office and our friendly staff will be happy to assist you (check or money order). Checks should be made payable to Community Education. Returned checks will be assessed a $40 service fee. Registrations are processed in the order they are received and class fee must be paid in full.
